Education within the framework of the HTP Agreement

"On the establishment of the Heydar Aliyev International Education Grant Program" was prepared in order to ensure the implementation of paragraph 3.1 of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 3956 dated July 8, 2023 and determines the procedure for providing education grants for the purpose of organizing the education of citizens of the following countries (hereinafter referred to as program participants) in preparatory courses in accordance with the language of instruction at higher education institutions of the Republic of Azerbaijan, at the bachelor's (basic (basic higher) medical education), master's (residency), doctoral levels (except for special-purpose higher education institutions) from the state budget to the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan: 1.1.1. Member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation; 1.1.2. Member countries of the Non-Aligned Movement; 1.1.3. Countries included in the Small Island Developing States group; 1.1.4. countries inhabited by peoples and national minorities with ethnic, historical and cultural ties with our people. In accordance with the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated July 8, 2023, the selection process of candidates for the 2024-2025 academic year of the "Heydar Aliyev International Education Grant" program, jointly implemented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Science and Education, has been completed. Out of hundreds of candidates from 47 countries who applied to the program, 100 people from 35 countries were awarded an education grant. In the 2024/2025 academic year, three foreign citizens began their education at our university with the Heydar Aliyev International Education Grant:
