Tasks and objectives of the department

The main task of the research department is the training of scientific and pedagogical staff, planning, coordination, implementation and control of scientific research, as well as the application of research results in production and teaching process, the development of scientific and technical cooperation with foreign countries at AzAUC is to make.
One of the priorities of the Scientific Research Department (SRD) is the organization and holding of international and national conferences and symposiums, coordination of patent and licensing activities, international status of patents and inventions, dissemination of scientific information, bringing scientific publications to the level of prestigious journals.
Another task of the SRD is to coordinate the research work carried out in the departments and research laboratories of the University and to assist them in the following areas:
To create a database on research work carried out at the University in order to allocate grants for the implementation of new projects from funds interested in the development of science and education;
To establish contacts and exchange information with foreign and local scientific centers and companies for the purpose of joint project;
To find sponsors interested in the implementation of scientific projects and involve them in financial support.
The main issues facing the SRD are:
development of priority areas of fundamental and exploratory research in the development of fundamentally new techniques, technologies and materials;
effective use of the scientific potential of the university in order to solve the main problems of the development of architecture, construction and other fields of science;
application of the results of scientific research to production and teaching process;
training, retraining and advanced training of highly qualified scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel;
development of perspective forms of scientific and technical cooperation with various fields of the construction complex in order to expand the use of scientific results in production;
Training of highly qualified scientific specialists in foreign countries in order to form the scientific potential of AzUAC;
Commercialization of the results of mental activity at the university.
