Scientific Seminar Held on Renewable Energy Sources at AzUAC

A scientific seminar was held at Construction of Engineering Systems and Facilities department of the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (AzUAC). The presentation titled "Automation of Water Supply and Irrigation Systems Based on Energy Recovery through the Use of SCADA System," was delivered by RasimMammadov, the director of the Design and Monitoring department at AzAlternativeEnergy LLC. 

The expert stated that Azerbaijan is a country abundant in energy resources, emphasizing that the utilization of energy sources is a key point of the state's attention.

Mentioning the energy security policy implemented under the leadership of the President Iham Aliyev, Rasim Mammadov drew attention to the works carried out by the state in the territories liberated from occupation. He indicated that the possibility of carrying out solar energy initiatives in those regions is considerable. The speaker pointed out that Zangilan, Jabrayil and Fuzuli areas are considered as the country's second most favorable region in terms of solar radiation after Nakhchivan.

During his speech, the expert also discussed the issues of automation of water management and reclamation facilities due to renewable energy.

The seminar continued with discussions on the topic.
