Pilot Training Week Within WORK4CE Project Started at Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (AzUAC)


The pilot training week within the framework of the WORK4CE project has started by the organization of the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (AzUAC).

Under the organization of AzUAC, international professors and teachers within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA2 program of the European Unions CBHE WORK4CE project have organized classes.

On the first day of the project, the rector of AzUAC, Professor Gulchohra Mammadova, welcomed the delegation consisting of international professors and teachers, led by Galina Tabunshchikin, professor at the National UniversityZaporizhzhia Polytechnicof Ukraine, who is also the head of the mentioned project, as well as Carolina Cruz, Jon Aretxaga from the University of the Basque Country of Spain, Peter Arras, Tegoeh Tjahjowidodo from Catholic University of Leuven of Belgium, and Dino Schoenberg and Thorsten Ruben from Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts ofGermany.

During the meeting, the director of the Erasmus+ National Office in Azerbaijan, Parviz Baghirov, the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Professor Nargiz Abdullayeva, the director of the Foreign Relations Department, Associate Professor Farhad Aliyev, the coordinator of the WORK4CE project, Isa Muradov, and members of the project Khanlar Ganiyev, Shahmar Rafili, Kanan Həsənov, and Sarkhan Talibzade participated.

Discussions were held on the work related to the project, responsibilities placed on participants, the role of AzUAC in the project, and future necessary steps. Particularly, the beneficial aspects of the project in expanding collaboration between universities and businesses were emphasized. Additionally, discussions took place regarding the Dual Diploma agreement to be signed between AzUAC and Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts within the framework of the project.

After the meeting, the guests got acquainted with the teaching classrooms and laboratories set within the framework of the project.

The purpose of the training week organized at the university is to share the experiences of European universities in integrating Work 4.0 concepts into education and to discuss practical strategies for incorporating these innovations into interdisciplinary approaches to education and industrial cooperation in Azerbaijani universities.
