Teacher and Students of AzUAC Visited Belgium Within the Framework of WORK4CE Project
Representatives of the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (AzUAC) participated in a pilot training week organized by KU Leuven University in Belgium for students.
As part of the Erasmus+ CBHE project “Interdisciplinary Competencies for Healthy and Safe Work in the 21st Century” - the WORK4CE project, classes on “Digital business ecosystems and development of safe workplaces” were organized.
From AzUAC, teachers Isa Muradov from the Department of Project Management and Kanan Hasanov from the Department of Economic Theory and Marketing, as well as 3 students, joined the pilot training week.
Kanan Hasanov, AzUAC teacher gave a lecture to students on the module “Digital ecosystems for sustainable future mobility” during the pilot training week. In his lecture, he spoke about the key role of digital ecosystems in shaping the future of sustainable and energy-efficient mobility. He emphasized the transformative impact of interconnected technologies and data-driven solutions on the movement of people and goods.
Under the mentorship of Isa Muradov, our students completed group assignments with students from other universities during the pilot training week. In the end, the team of AzUAC was selected as the winner among 18 student groups and was awarded certificates.
During the five-day training week, other international participants of the project also made presentations. There was an exchange of ideas about the project and discussions were held on the responsibilities placed on the participants and the necessary future steps.
It should be noted that in addition to Azerbaijan, Germany, Belgium, Spain, and Ukraine are also members of the WORK4CE project funded by the European Union.
The aim of the project is to develop opportunities for successful joint production approaches among lecturers, field specialists, and members of professional associations, thereby developing relevant opportunities for managing digital transformation.
