AzUAC Students to Prepare Interior Design Projects of Hotel Fitness Center in Georgia

"Technogym Azerbaijan" Company will implement "Creating the Interior Environment of a Hotel Fitness Center" Project in Georgia in collaboration with the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (AzUAC).

The project proposed by AzUAC lecturers Gulnara Asgaralizade and Jamal Gadirli from the Environment design department aim to explore trends and requirements related to the internal design of a hotel fitness center and to implement projects based on them in collaboration with Italy-Azerbaijan Design Center and "Technogym Azerbaijan" company.

On the first day of the project a comprehensive presentation was given at Italy-Azerbaijan Design Center by the representative of "Technogym Azerbaijan" about the project planned to be implemented in Georgia. During the meeting attended by lecturers and students from the Environment Design department, discussions were held regarding the university, company and student tandem, project requirements, tasks to be carried out and main points to be considered.

It was noted by the company representative that the project will be conducted from February 15^th to May 25^th, covering the summer term of the 2023-2024 academic year. The project will be given to students as a course assignment during the summer term and will be implemented according to the curriculum. Participating lecturers will be briefed on the company's products and their features in advance and will be trained by experts. The works presented at the end of the project will be evaluated both as course assignments and as participation in competitions.

Winning students of the competition will receive gifts and certificates and they will be encouraged to collaborate with the company. It is planned that the jury panel for the competition will include director of Architecture and Interior Design at "Technogym Azerbaijan" Cristian Brugnolin.

By participating in the project, students will develop algorithms for the modern equipment and interior solutions suitable for fitness purposes through negotiations with potential clients, starting from preparing a business plan to presenting explanations, quotations, as well as preparing anthropological and ergonomic requirements for a specific object.

It should be noted that the design work of the fitness center will be prepared according to the client's marketing policy and the typology of the product.
