Cooperation with MUSIAD-Azerbaijan to Create Experience Opportunities for Students and Job Opportunities for Graduates
Members of the Board of Directors, as well as members of the Education, Culture and Planning Commission of MUSIAD-Azerbaijan, a non-governmental organization visited the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (AzUAC).
Rector of AzUAC, Professor Gulchohra Mammadova received the delegation led by Rashad Jabirli, the head of the Board of Directors of MUSIAD-Azerbaijan.
At the meeting, Rashad Jabirli provided information about the organization he oversees. According to him, the Independent Industrialists and Businessmen’s Association, founded in 1990 in Istanbul was established with the goal of contributing to social, cultural, political, economic, scientific and scientific, technological development. With 169 locations across 73 countries and 13,000 members, the organization has so far helped to create employment opportunities for almost 2 million people. The organization’s Azerbaijan branch was founded in 2018 and has since created employment opportunities for 5528 individuals.
Then the possibilities of cooperation between AzUAC and MUSIAD were discussed later. There was an exchange of ideas with the university in the direction of increasing cooperation with MUSIAD member companies.
Furthermore, the program’s cooperative opportunities were taken into consideration, as well as the significance of young MUSIAD’s activities, which prioritize integration of students and young people into the workforce.
Rector Professor Gulchohra Mammadova emphasized the importance of public-private partnerships, the importance of this partnership in terms of increasing job opportunities for graduates, internship opportunities for students, and studying the requirements of the industry for the preparation of personnel, and noted that cooperation could be useful.
Following discussions, it was agreed to form a working group of AzUAC and MUSIAD-Azerbaijan in order to establish and develop cooperative relations.
