AzUAC Lecturer's Project Emerges as a Winner – Excellent Opportunity for Entrepreneurs Seeking Professional Networking
Ramin Akbarov, a lecturer at the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (AzUAC) has emerged as the winner of the 4th grant competition for the financing of projects of subjects announced by the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA).
Ramin Akbarov participated in the grant competition for the financing of educational, scientific and support projects of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises with his startup idea called "Bucard." The startup which was developed approximately over 1.5 years, is intended for entrepreneurs seeking to develop professional networks. The startup created by AzUAC lecturer has been recognized as a transformative and innovative force in the field of managing business networks and professional relationships.
The platform allows users to create digital business cards, enhance profiles with additional information and showcase products and services. This platform simplifies mutual relationships between companies in the business environment. The young entrepreneur has also received a "Startup" certificate from SMBDA. Currently, work on the platform, which has a user base of over 100 active users is under completion and it will soon be fully functional.
It is noteworthy that 382 projects were submitted to the competition. The Expert Commission conducted an examination and evaluation of the projects. The selection criteria included the impact on the development of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises, innovation, the presence of a substantiated idea, practical application possibilities, the availability of necessary experience and material-technical base for project implementation and other relevant factors. Ultimately, it was decided to finance 19 projects that met the requirements. Each winning project is allocated up to a maximum of 20,000 manats in financial resources.
