“Baku City Residences” will Provide Scholarships to Students of Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction

The delegation led by Ramil Maharramov, the Executive Director of “Baku City Residences” visited the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (AzUAC).

Professor Gulchohra Mammadova, the rector of AzUAC welcomed the guests and provided detailed information about the university. Rector Gulchohra Mammadova, emphasized the significance of relationships between higher education institutions with a technical profile and industrial enterprises, and stated that cooperation between “Baku City Residences” and AzUAC was possible in many directions.

Professor Gulchohra Mammadova pointed out that the involvement of students of engineering, architecture and design specialties of AzUAC in large-scale projects implemented by the company can create excellent opportunities to acquire practical knowledge.

Declaring their interest in cooperation with AzUAC, Ramil Maharramov provided detailed information about the activities of “Baku City Residences” Company, as well as the projects implemented. The guest noted that the scientific research of AzUAC scientists regarding the construction sector are of great importance for “Baku City Residences” and the company intends to cooperate with the university in various ways in training of engineering personnel.

During the meeting, with the participation of the delegation, opportunities for cooperation between the two institutions, important factors for strengthening relations, especially the creation of the triangle of education, science and production, as well as the provision of long-term and fruitful cooperation were discussed.

It should be noted that the main purpose of the memorandum signed between “Baku City Residences” and Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction is to contribute to training of professional personnel for the development of architecture and urban planning sector.

 
Within the framework of cooperation, “Baku City Residences” will allocate individual scholarships to a group of students studying at the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction. Students selected on the basis of predetermined criteria will be given the opportunity to work in various departments of “Baku City Residences”.
