Improving its position in international rankings is one of the strategic goals of AUAC – the representatives of “QS Quacquarelli Symonds” held a seminar for university employees

Representatives of QS Quacquarelli Symonds, one of the most prestigious rating organizations in the world, held a seminar for employees of Azerbaijan Architecture and Construction University. Dara Bukhtoyarova, the project coordinator, Habib Fardoun, the senior consultant, Zaeem Siddiqui, the senior consultant and Nilly Castano, the consultant, participated in the seminar as members of the consulting team of the international rating agency QS Quacquarelli Symonds. 

Speaking at the seminar, Ganira Mammadzade, the head of the Strategic Planning Department of AUAC, introduced the guests to the university staff and gave information about the topic of the seminar and its importance.

Rector, Professor Gulchohra Mammadova made a speech and welcomed the guests and talked about the strategic goals of AUAC, the impact factor magazines, local and international rating organizations being among these goals, and including cooperation projects with “QS Quacquarelli Symonds” Agency. The Rector noted that the strategic goal of AUAC is to become a more modern higher education institution and further promote its position in the international rating tables, which are indicators of development.

Professor Gulchohra Mammadova talked about the importance of QS rating results in various categories for AUAC and wished success to the participants of the seminar.

The representatives of the QS Rating Agency provided extensive information on the activities of the Agency and the “QS Subject Ranking” category, as well as comparative analysis of the current situation of AUAC based on the indicators of the relevant category at the seminar.

Then the representatives of the Agency answered the questions of the participants.
