Turkish professor had an internship at AUAC
Adnan Kaplan, the professor of Landscape Architecture Department of Ege University of Turkey, visited the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (AUAC) within the framework of Orhun Exchange Program.
Professor Adnan Kaplan had a two-week internship at the Department of Architectural Design and Urban Planning of AUAC and conducted classes in architectural design, urban planning, landscape architecture, and agricultural complexes to bachelor and master degree students. Adnan Kaplan got also acquainted with teaching programs for architecture and urban planning subjects, and exchanged ideas with students and teachers.
During the visit, the guest teacher visited Martyrs’ Alley, “Icherisheher” state historical-architectural reserve, “Gobustan” national historical-cultural reserve and “Atashgah Temple” state historical-architectural reserve together with faculty members teaching at AUAC within the US Fulbright Scholar program. They also visited the city of Sheki, one of the ancient cultural centers of Azerbaijan, visited the historical-architectural monuments located there, and got acquainted with the restoration and construction works.
