Scientific-Practical Seminar Held on Specialty of Safety of Life Activity

 

A scientific-practical seminar on the improvement of the educational process and the enhancement of teachers’ professionalism in the specialty of “Safety of Life Activity” was held at the Department of “Emergency Situations and Life Safety of the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (AzUAC) on February 10, 2023. In addition to scholars from AzUAC, staff from the Institute of Radiation Problems also participated in the seminar.

 

The speaker, Associate Professor Sayavush Gozalov, made a speech and drew attention to four current directions in the specialty of Safety of Life Activity:

- Organizing the teaching-learning system for the improvement of the educational process in Safety of Life Activities;

- The objective of pedagogy, object of study, and the main purpose;

- Ways to enhance teachers’ professionalism in Pedagogical Mastery;

- Types of lectures, their organization, examination, evaluation, and ways of eliminating contradictions.

 

Following the presentation, discussions were organized on the highlighted directions.
