Within the Framework of "Creative Spark" Project, Representatives from London South Bank University Conducted Training sessions for AzUAC Faculty Members
The Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (AzUAC) has been collaborating with London South Bank University, one of the leading universities in the United Kingdom, for three years under the "Creative Spark" project, which is implemented by the British Council. "Creative Spark" is a project aimed at supporting inter-university and institutional collaboration at the international level to develop business skills and creative economy in Central Asian countries (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan), South Caucasus countries (Azerbaijan, Georgia, Armenia), and Ukraine (in total seven countries).
As part of the project, representatives from London South Bank University, including Professor Issa Chaerand the senior teachers in Structural Engineering, Ivana Kraincanic and Luis Santos, recently visited AzUACand met with the Rector of AzUAC, Professor Gulchohra Mammadova. Discussions were held during the meeting regarding BIM technology, the Net Zero project, and future development prospects for collaboration. Later, the guests got familiarized with the university's laboratories and equipment.
Representatives from London South Bank University conducted training sessions in English on "Utilizing digital skills during learning and teaching" and "Industry-based projects" for faculty members teaching subjects in English.
