Collaborative Webinar Hosted by AzUAC, Student Trade Union Committee, and YASHAT Foundation
Today, at the initiative of the Student Trade Union Committee of Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (AzUAC), a webinar titled "Let's Support, Let’s Keep Alive!" was held. The webinar was attended by Zinyat Shamiyeva, Head Specialist of the Business Department of the YASHAT (Keep Alive) Foundation, faculty deans, department instructors, and students.
Bayram Aslanov, the president of AzUAC's Student Trade Union Committee, announced the purpose of the webinar, which is to demonstrate unity and solidarity among students and to call for support to the veterans and families of martyrs. Under the slogan "Let's Support, Let's Keep Alive!" let’s support those who have made victory possible for us and those who have inscribed the history of Victory. It is the duty of each of our compatriots to support the families of the martyrs and veterans who bravely gave thier lives and blood during 44-day Patriotic War. I call on you to help the families of the heroes who have endured the difficult recovery period."
Following Aslanov's opening speech, Z. Shamiyeva, a representative of the YASHAT Foundation, provided insights into the foundation's activities and various initiatives they have undertaken in a short period. Shamiyeva highlighted the significant work done by the foundation, including improving the social welfare and living conditions of the families of martyrs and soldiers wounded in combat, as well as providing support for their children's education. She emphasized that the YASHATFoundation, with its significant humanitarian mission, continues its voluntary efforts, and the funds collected are directed to meet the needs of the families of martyrs and veterans.
Konul Aliyeva, the director of the Public Affairs Department of the university, expressed her best wishes to all members of the YAŞAT Foundation, who have taken on the mission of providing additional support for the families of martyrs and individuals with disabilities determined as a result of military operations, in addition to the state-led social protection measures. Aliyeva urged students to demonstrate solidarity and support for every veteran and family of a martyr.
