"Hydraulics and Hydraulic Machinery" Laboratory Inaugurated at AzUAC Department of Reclamation and Waterworks Construction
Created based on innovative technologies, this laboratory plays a crucial role in conducting laboratory work for the subjects of "Hydraulics and Hydraulic Machinery" outlined in the new curriculum. The laboratory is equipped to conduct 27 types of laboratory work.
According to the words of the Dean of the Faculty, Z. Musayev, within the newly created laboratory facilities, the establishment of the operating and cavitation characteristics of pumps is carried out at the "Research of Pump Operating Modes" stand, along with the pumps' operation with a pipe bend, taking measurements on the parallel and serial operation of two pumps to establish characteristic differences. It should also be noted that all laboratory works, their sequence and implementation rules, have been prepared by the faculty members of the department, printed, and added to the lesson materials titled "Hydraulic Laboratory Works." The equipment and tools in the laboratory were purchased from the British company "Armfield."
