Scientific Seminar on Topic of "Utilizing Innovative Technologies in Energy Supply of the Liberated Territories of Azerbaijan" Held at Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (AzUAC)
In accordance with the directive of the President of the country, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, who is also the Supreme Commander, the preparation of a "Green Zone" or "Green Space" concept has commenced in the Karabakh region, taking into account the most advanced international experience. This concept will encompass the utilization of restored energy sources, energy efficiency, ecological clean technologies, including the application of transportation vehicles, and other related issues.
On April 20th, an online scientific seminar was held on the topic of "Utilization of Innovative Technologies in the Energy Supply of Azerbaijan's Liberated Territories" jointly organized by the Departments of Engineering Systems and Equipment Construction and Foreign Languages of the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (AzUAC), Applied Mechanics and English Language of the Azerbaijan State Maritime Academy (ASMA), Energy Production Technology of the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University, and Energy Efficiency and Green Energy Technologies of the Azerbaijan Technical University.
During the seminar, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of AzUAC, A. Gasimov, the Vice-Rector for Science and International Relations of ASMA, V. Sadigov, and the Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs of ASOIU, A. Babayev, greeted the participants and emphasized the significance of the seminar's focus on a highly relevant topic.
Following this, V. Huseynov, the head of the Department of Applied Mechanics at ASMA, presented on "Utilization of Innovative Technologies in the Energy Supply of Azerbaijan's Liberated Territories." N. Mammadov, the head of the Department of Engineering Systems and Equipment Construction at AzUAC, discussed "Research on the Application of Ceiling Heating and Cooling Systems in Liberated Territories." SH. Nəsirov, the head of the Department of Energy Production Technologies at ASOIU, presented on "Restored Heating and Electricity Generation," while S. Mammadov, a staff member of ANAS, spoke on "Utilization of New Technologies in Azerbaijan." They provided concrete proposals on the opportunities for using restored energy sources in the Karabakh region, the application of modern technologies, and other related issues.
In addition, the seminar featured contributions from I. Aliyev, an environmental expert from UNDP, and M. Aghamaliyev, a professor from the Department of Energy Production Technologies at ASOIU, who presented interesting proposals.
Z. Musayev, the dean of the Faculty of Water Management and Engineering Communications od AzUAC, highlighted the significant importance of the discussed issue for our country. He noted that the seminar was conducted at a very high level and that interesting presentations were made during the event.
Concluding the seminar, V. Huseynov and N. Mammadov emphasized the importance of such events, noting that the joint discussion of scientific research conducted in various universities is of great significance in the current era. They expressed agreement on the need for future joint discussions on scientific research conducted at the level of philosophy doctorate and science doctorate within the departments.
