Students of AzUAC Undergoing Production Internships


In order to acquire deeper professional knowledge, during the eighth semester fourth-year students of the Azerbaijan Architecture and Construction University (AzUAC) are engaged in a production internship.  In accordance with the quarantine regulations, the internship is scheduled for 70 internship days and spans a total of 14 weeks as per the curriculum. The university administration pays special attention to organizing the production internships, ensuring that students successfully undergo internships at state institutions and leading companies operating in the country.

Currently, 1705 students enrolled in the final year of the bachelor's degree program are undergoing diploma-related production internships in established institutions in the labor market. Accordingly, mentors are assigned from the university's experienced faculty members and the internship process is conducted in 191 companies with which the university collaborates, as well as individual initiatives presented by students from companies. Negotiations have been conducted with technical-oriented organizations located in regions where our students live enabling them to undergo internships in organizations closer to their residential regions without extensive travel.

The internship, which started on February 16th, is currently ongoing, the employees of the Internship and Career center regularly inspect the internship facilities, monitor the attendance of students, the conditions created for them and the overall progress of the internship on the spot.

Today, the director of the Center, Khanlar Ganiyev, visited a total of 6 organizations, including Baku Grand Project LLC, Geoid LLC, the Ecology Institute of the National Aerospace Agency, Era Marketing Center LLC, Gala Life Insurance LLC and Kon Lay LLC. He met with students undergoing internships from the faculties of Architecture, Construction, Transportation, Water Management, and Engineering Communication Systems, discussing the conditions provided for them and the tasks they are performing. The students expressed their satisfaction with the conditions created for them and stated that the organizations where they are engaging in real projects, enable them to gain significant practical experience. Representatives of these institutions also expressed their satisfaction with the students' level of preparedness and discipline. The students highlighted that they have been closely involved in teamwork since the first day, utilizing the latest equipment and technologies alongside highly specialized and experienced professionals in organizations to implement various projects and operations. Khanlar Ganiyev toured the institutions with their representatives, familiarizing himself with the students' work processes.

It should be noted that the production internships of AzUAC students will continue until May 25.
