Production Internships of Our Students Continue Successfully
The integration of students' academic knowledge with production and the enhancement of their practical skills are among the main priorities set by the university leadership. Special emphasis are placed on organizing production experiences with the aim of converting theoretical knowledge, skills, and abilities acquired by students during their education into practical skills. As in previous years, also this year, our students have been sent for a 14-week internship at production organizations relevant to their specialties from the first day of the second term.
The staff of the Career and Internship Center of the university, which focuses on enhancing the practical skills of students undergoing internships at production organizations, regularly conduct inspections at these companies. They monitor the progress of students, the conditions created for them, and overall performance during the internships. Today, the director of the Center, Khanlar Ganiyev, met with students who are undergoing internships at Training Center of Baku Metro CJSC, EVRASCON LLC, and SOCAR's Oil and Gas Construction Trust, observing their progress in internships, safety regulations, tasks assigned to them and the conditions provided.
The head of the center expressed satisfaction with the conditions created for our students in organizations and companies, as well as attention and care shown to them in the pandemic conditions. Representatives of these organizations, as well as internship supervisors from the production sector, such as the deputy head of the Training Center at Baku Metro CJSC Rizvan Bayramov and Chief Engineer at Hydrotechnical Research Center Gulum Aliyev also expressed their satisfaction with the students' preparedness and discipline.
