AzUAC Colleagues Participated in the Meeting of Partner Universities Within the Erasmus+ KA2 GEOCLIC Project

 

The initial meeting of partners from Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, and Kazakhstan within the European Union's Erasmus+ KA2 GEOCLIC project titled "New Courses in Geospatial Engineering for Adaptation of Coastal Ecosystems to Climate Change," was held. During the meeting, introductions were made with the partners, preparations for the next joint meeting with European partners were discussed, presentations were made, documents related to theproject were prepared and discussions were held regarding emerging and anticipated problems related to the implementation of the project. The head of the Ecology engineering department at Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction Fagan Aliyevt, the head of the Foreign relations departmentFarhad Aliyev and the deputy head of the department Konul Shirinova participated in the project. 

It should be noted that the GEOCLIC project, aimed at fostering cooperation between the European Union and partner countries to ensure the ecological safety of coastal ecosystems using new technologies and modernizing educational programs at the bachelor, master and doctoral levels won in 2020. The project will continue until 2023. Al-Farabi Kazakh National University serves as the coordinator of the project.
