Enlightening Seminar at Clean City Center

An enlightening seminar was organized at the "Clean City" Center under the auspices of the Strategic Planning Department of the Azerbaijan Architecture and Construction University (AzUAC), for students specializing in Environmental Engineering within the Faculty of Water Engineering and Engineering Communication Systems.

The topic of the seminar conducted by Jahangir Mammadzade, an environmental engineer from the Environmental Protection Department of the "Clean City" OJC, was "Sorting of Household Waste and Development of Recycling Market". General information was provided about the activities of the Household Waste Sorting Plant under the "Clean City" OJC, and the process of waste sorting. It was noted that the recycling market, once considered unnecessary years ago, now contributes to the economy by reintegrating waste materials. The recycling industry was discussed to have a positive impact on waste reduction and ecological conservation.

The topic was presented to the students with a comprehensive presentation by the engineer of the Environmental Protection Department. At the end, students' questions on the topic were answered.
