"On November 19th, the Azerbaijan University ofArchitecture and Construction (AzUAC) organized the next seminar for students in collaboration with the Strategic Planning Department of the "Clean City" OJC.
The seminar, conducted by engineer Samir Agasiyev from the Department of Environmental Protection and Conservation, was dedicated to the topic of "Management of Solid Household Waste."
Third-year students specializing in Ecology from AzUAC's Faculty of Water Engineering and Engineering Communication Systems participated in the seminar.
The seminar highlighted the principles of managing solid household waste. A representative from the Joint Stock Company provided detailed information to the students about the activities of the Solid Household Waste Incineration Plant. It was emphasized that due to its production capacity, the plant is one of the largest facilities of its kind in Eastern Europe and the CIS region. It was noted that it is possible to supply energy to large cities like Ganja using the energy generated from waste. The topic presented in the presentation sparked great interest among the students.
It is worth mentioning that the seminars held at AzUAC's "Clean City" Center are very beneficial for students studying in relevant specialties, as they obtain extensive information related to the field they will work in the future.
