Cooperation Agreement Signed Between Kharkiv National Automobile and Highway University (KNAHU) and Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (AzUAC)
AzUAC representatives visited Ukraine from November 12th to 16th upon the invitation of KNAHU. The main purpose of the trip was to establish mutual relations between the universities and participate in the international scientific-practical conference on "Transportation Systems: State, Maintenance Issues, and Repair".
Representatives from AzUAC included Elchin Yusifzade, Dean of the Transportation Faculty, and Rovshan Sadiyev, Head Teacher of the Department of Transportation Construction and Road Traffic Organization. During the visit, our delegation met with Georgiy Tokhtar, Vice-Rector for International Relations at KNAHU. Discussions were held on establishing and developing inter-university relations. Subsequently, our representatives toured several faculties of KNAHU. On the second day, our delegation was received by the rector of KNAHU, Professor A.M. Turenko, where mutual areas of interest were discussed, leading to the signing of a cooperation agreement between the two universities. Later, Elchin Yusifzade, Dean of the Transportation Faculty, delivered a comprehensive presentation about AzUAC with the participation of the leadership of KNAHU, answering questions related to the universities.
On the third day of the visit, our delegation participated in the international scientific-practical conference on "Transportation Systems: State, Maintenance Issues, and Repair". The opening ceremony of the conference featured a speech by Professor V.A. Bogomolov, Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs at KNAHU. Then, Elchin Yusifzade delivered a congratulatory speech on behalf of AzUAC, welcoming the conference participants and conveying greetings from AzUAC's rector, Professor Gulchohra Mammadova. During the plenary session of the conference, Rovshan Sadiyev, a faculty member, presented a lecture on "New Approaches in the Calculation of Drilled Piles Considering Geological Conditions".
