AzUAC Students Participated in Summer Internship Program at ISKI in Istanbul

The next internship program with the participation of the students of the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (AzUAC) took place at the Istanbul Water and Sewerage Administration (ISKI) in Istanbul, Turkey. The internship program involved 30 students studying in the faculties of Architecture, Construction, WM and ECS, and Construction Technology of the university.

 

On the first day of the program, students were provided with extensive information about ISKI’s history, current projects, ongoing constructions, international relations, and future plans. In the following days, students gotacquainted with technical researches at various facilities and laboratories under the departments of Water Control and Automation Center (ISKOM), Planning, Project and Investment Department, Water Construction Department, Water Treatment Department, and Wastewater Construction Department, both individually and in groups on specified days.

 

As part of the program, they also visited historical museums such as the “Basilica Cistern,” the “Sultan Ahmed Mosque,” “Miniaturk,” and “Panorama 1453.” At the end of the program, students were presented with souvenirs and certificates by ISKI.
