Final Informative Seminar of the First Term was Conducted for Ecology Students of the "Tamiz Shahar" (“Clean City” OJSC) at AzUAC.

According to the action plan between the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (AzUAC) and "Təmiz Şəhər" (“Clean City”) OJSC, the final educational seminar of this semester was held for the third-year students of the Environmental Engineering specialty of the Water Management and Engineering Communication Systems faculty under the organization of the Strategic Planning department.

Director of the Environmental Protection and Labor Department of "Tamiz Shahar" OJSC Sabuhi Babayev and environmental engineer Jahangir Mammadzadewere participating in seminar. The seminar was led by Sabuhi Babayev, who focused on topics such as "Management of Solid Household Waste," "The Role of Ecological Industrial Parks in Environmental Protection," and "Waste Separation and Development of Recycling Markets." Before moving on to the topics of the seminar, the head of the department informed the students about the society. Regarding the topic of "Management of Solid Household Waste," students were provided with extensive information about the principles of managing solid household waste, including reuse, recycling, energy conservationand more. Information was also provided about projects such as "Clean City," "Balakhani Industrial Plant," and others, highlighting the significant role of the Balakhani Industrial Park in the management of solid household waste.

Following this, a representative of the organization discussed the role of Ecological Industrial Parks in environmental protection, drawing attention to the work conducted in this field and showcasing videos reflecting the activities of the Ecological Industrial Parks. The seminar also covered the work carried out by the organization in the field of waste separation and the development of recycling markets, future plans, and potential challenges in this direction. The presentation of the topic sparked the interest of the students.

The Director of the Environmental Protection and Labor Department presented the topic to the students through a presentation. Finally, questions from the students regarding the topic were addressed.

It is worth noting that seminars conducted by "TamizShahr" OJSC at AzUAC are highly beneficial for students studying relevant disciplines, providing them with extensive information about the field they will work in the future.
