Rector Meets with the Director of the British Council

Today, the rector of Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction, Professor Gulchohra Mammadova, met with Samr Shah, the representative of the British Council in Azerbaijan. The rector warmly welcomed the guest and expressed her pleasure at having him at the university. Additionally, she expressed concern upon learning that Samr Shah's tenure in Azerbaijan was coming to an end. She did not hide her admiration for the high level of cooperation between AzUAC and the British Council over the years, recalling successful projects implemented together. G. Mammadovamentioned projects carried out under the “Creative Spark” initiative, language courses organized by the University of Leicester for AzUAC's faculty, and the accreditation of the university's Architecture faculty by RIBA.

In return, Samr Shah thanked the rector for the warm reception and spoke about the successful cooperation with AzUAC over the years and the sincere meetings with Madam Rector during his tenure in Azerbaijan. He expressed confidence that the existing relationships and fruitful cooperation would continue successfully in the coming years, wishing success to the rector and her team.

During the cordial meeting, they exchanged ideas about the future prospects of the British Council's relations with universities.
