Representatives of BIMD (Building Information Modelling Development) Company Conducted Seminar

Representatives of the BIMD (Building Information Modelling Development) company conducted a seminar on "Building Information Modelling" for students of the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (AzUAC).

 

Organized by the Career and Experience Department, the seminar was attended by the company's director, Ilkin Garayev, BIM manager Murad Abdullayev, and other staff members. The seminar was well-received by students from the faculties of Architecture, Construction, Mechanics, and Information Technologies.

 

The Vice-Rector for Strategic Development, UlkerSattarova, welcomed the company representatives and students, acknowledging the rapid and dynamic development of information technologies, which bring innovations to all fields, including construction. She emphasized the importance of acquiring knowledge and skills in BIM technologies for future specialists.

 

During his comprehensive presentation, Director I. Garayev spoke about the role of BIM in the construction industry. He highlighted BIM as an approach to the construction, supply, operation, and maintenance (facility lifecycle management), where all crucial information is stored and managed in a 3D model throughout the entire construction process.

 

In an active discussion format, the seminar concluded with the company representatives addressing various questions from the students and engaging in an exchange of ideas on the topic.
