In the frame of the Erasmus+ - Key Action 2 - Capacity building in the field of higher education, Key Action 2: Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices the NIZAMI project had started.
The main goal of the NIZAMI project is restructuring and development of doctoral studies in Azerbaijan in line with requirements of European higher education area.
The kick-off meeting for NIZAMI project took a place at the University of Montpellier, France between 7-9 December, 2015.

The first day of kick-off meeting was opened by coordinator of the NIZAMI project Dr. Véronique Montero. Then, Prof. Jacques Mercier, Vice-President of Scientific Council and Prof. François Henn, Vice-President of International Affairs of the University of Montpellier welcomed all participants and gave official presentation about University of Montpellier. At the end of the first and all second day participants made presentations about their universities.
The third and last day was dedicated to all technical work of the project. The NIZAMI coordinator Dr. Véronique Montero explained all the details of the project including budget, objectives, work packages, duration of the project and etc. The work packages were distributed among partners.
